    Yes it is. It has to be or you would be putting an 8" can on a 18.7" barrel and it would be unwieldy to say the least.

    Out of curiosity, why make the custom handguard when B&T offer a few different lengths, including a 16.5?
    Is it the cost, or availability, or just a creative thing?

    It's mostly the cost / availability thing. Wee needed one for a shop friend so Joe just fired up the CNC.

    Dumb question, if one buys one of the NR converted does he gets the R parts with the gun?
