    Typically that will do it although I'm not sure why they would use red loctite instead of blue. it's only a 22 so it's not generating a lot of vibration to work the shroud loose.

    looking for some accuracy reports. I'm mostly interested in one to mount the elcan OS3. I think it would be great set up for grouse in the fall.

    Almost every KRISS with a shroud that doesn't have the loctite will end up with a loosened shroud (I personally used high-temp blue loctite.)

    ...as mentioned a soldiering iron held on it for several minutes will allow you to remove the set-screw.

    lol Major! haha
    The case is a 5 dollar case. My real Vectors came in cardboard boxes. this is not a MAJOR flaw.
