The .416 and the .375 gives Western Canadian Bear hunter's, the comfort zone edge.
I love the .416 Rigby, but the .375 H&H is easier on your wallet when it comes to reloading.

I have owned a few 375s and enjoy shooting them. How big of a step up is the rigby when it comes to recoil?
It is a fair bit of an increase. I have the cz in 375, 416 and 458 Lott . If you can shoot the 375 well the 416 shouldn't be an issue.
All of mine have the American style stocks. Haven't tried any with the hogsback european style.
They are hell for stout rifles and bloody fun to shoot.
