WS-MCR in 7.62x39 -- what mags? AR-15?

Yes they take AR pattern magazines, but built specifically for 7.62x39. The 10 round xcr pistol magazines simply have a different follower and maybe feed lips, but the larger pinned (5/30) mags have a much more aggressive curvature to them aswell to accommodate the more pronounced bottleneck of the 7.62x39 cartridge. You can actually fit 2 or 3 rounds into a plain jane 5.56 mag. But if you want the full 5 rounds with no issues, get a 7.62x39 specific magazine. The xcr mags are nice for the 10 round pistol capacity.
