    Leupold sells Redfield Brand

    Good day CGN,

Leupold has sold off the Redfield brand to Academy Sports + Outdoors.

At this time, we will not be involved with the sale of any new Redfield scopes, as we do not work with Academy Sports. It is yet to be seen if the newly produced scopes will be US made, or offshore like most all other brands these days.

Warranty for existing Redfield scopes in Canada will still be addressed at our facility.

    Regards,
    KGL

Too bad they were decent scopes, But I don't know why Leupold even bothered, I believe they were the same as the rifleman series. So now Redfield will live on as another Chinese low cost optic.

If a Leupold produced Redfield, yes. If pre-Leupold, we do not. Trace Scope repair is the place to go if you have a pre-Leupold Redfield.

Redfield was manufactured inline with the other Leupold scopes, so there shouldn't be any job losses (hopefully).

He has a half-tracked mind and unrelenting habit of self aggrandizing.

We've not been provided with an end date by Leupold. Regardless of any end dates, we'll do our best to ensure any Redfield/Leupold customer is taken care of.
