    Ruger will be making Marlins ... I have heard that it is unknown if the dark series continues (internet gossip only) .... perhaps Ruger can fix the quality control reputation (I’m not sure how bad it was and how much was only the internet ... Remlens are the Astra Zeneca of the gun world ... much hesitancy lol).

    Looking forward to seeing what Ruger might do different.

    With respect to lever guns, Chiappa has a solid track record for building some of the most reliable and well built rifles in the game. I can't speak to their other firearms though.

    i have a really smooth 45-70 coming from custom shop so they knew how to make good firearms but most were not willing to pay the whole price ...
