We just received a large Shipment of Sako and Tikka rifles. In this shipment were some new calibers and some new configurations we think might be of interest, along with restocking some old favourites.

First up:

Restocked on .308 win with 20" barrels, along with 223 Rem 20" barrels. New offering just came in in 6.5 PRC, 1:8 twist and 24" barrel*

*Please note that the 6.5 PRC CTR comes with a T3X standard 4 round composite magazine, and standard trigger guard/magwell, and not the aluminum and 10 round magazine

Also available in LEFT Hand as Well here:

Tikka T3X CTR Rifle, Left Handed - Various Calibers

For those looking for a 6.5 PRC, but are wanting their bolt to have 3 locking lugs instead of 2 we also have:

Along with the 6.5 PRC, the precision is also available in .308 win and in 6.5 creedmoor

If your shooting takes you more to the range to ring steel rather than to the field to fill the freezer it's hard to overlook:

Currently available in .308 win, in your choice of 20" or 24" barrels or in 6.5 creedmoor 24" barrel

Last but definitely not least we have an unique offering to the Canadian hunter from Sako. Usually the quest for lightweight and flat shooting results in a bruised shoulder (not to mention a bruised ego when your buddy says "told you so"). Sako aims to give you the flat shooting and light weight you want for your spot and stalk hunts without all the pain! An exclusive build for Canada we are pleased to be able to offer:

Offered exclusively in 300wm the barrel is factory threaded (15 x 1), and includes one of their stainless steel muzzle brakes. Have the punch you need to reach out pretty much any big game animal in North America, without giving yourself a hernia or a dislocated shoulder!

This way to more Sako and Tikka

I have a question regarding the CTR in 6.5 PRC.
What cartridge overall length does the mag allow for? Is it the same 2.95" internal length mag that comes with other CTRs, or did Tikka come out with something longer for the PRC?

Think it takes the standard mag read notes at top of message, they have 1 less now though lol but can always use 300wm mag and bolt stop

223 with the newish 75 ELDm, 80 ELDm and 80 SMK is absolutely an easy 1000 yard caliber for steel. Great way to introduce a lady or a new shooter or if you want to learn to reload and do the long range game with minimal cost and recoil. Get a 223 CTR, yodave trigger spring, decent glass, varget or xbr powder and go shoot !

Also if I were to get a CTR in 6.5 PRC I’d go with a aics bottom metal and run those accurate DSSF PRC magazines which you can get from gobigtactical. Otherwise you might have to modify the Tikka mags to get the full potential of the cartridge.

It's not the metal double stack magazine that comes with the standard CTR. It's a typical T3X mag single stack composite magazine. It has only the 6.5 PRC listed on it. We took calipers to it and the inside is 3" (3.058" to be precise)
