Pretty colours, more mag options, and very useful default rail option!
Are there any other advantages to these receivers over the stock ones?

Anodized finish vs painted. Our receivers are all anodized, the factory ones are painted.

    Better QC
    Radiused edges
    Enlarged ejection port

Lastly and not insignificantly...the last 10yrs or so Ruger oem receivers are very soft...These are NOT

I'll be keeping an eye out for a black one. My dlask tuff 22 receiver has the barrel hole too high, or the mag retention hole to low by about .025" compared to my old ruger 10/22. I could cut a small feed ramp into my bbl to make it work I suspect.... but wtf?? I already had to file the dlask recicever for the mag to even seat.... so yeah I don't think they would take it back.... paper weight now.

Your front modular mag block would be an easier way to machine the thing, while cutting down on the size of the billets and chips you have to make.

Having the 2 part receiver reduces the stock size by about 30%. It allows allows us to use shorter tools and run them faster when milling out the interior. This helps us keep our costs lower.

Call the Calgary Shooting Center. We sent them the last of our black receivers a couple of weeks ago. They might have some in stock.

Our next run of black should be done in a week or so. We sent them off to anodizing last week.
