Please see below for an announcement from Smith and Wesson ( Owners of Thompson Centre )..

If you have an outstanding claim with us prior to May 6th, we are working on this at the moment and moving towards a solution with S&W. However moving forward as of now there is no production of parts or firearms, so we will not be opening any new claims or taking orders on parts.

Apologies on delays for everything, and if you currently have an open claim with us PLEASE DO NOT CALL, we will reach out to you once we have more information.

Ah ah ah...

Still waiting for the action screw for the TCR22 that came without one... I bought in 2019.

They did jack... for me and barely apologized to top it off. Sure care a lot about anybody but 'merica.

World class CS!

Purchased A T/C 22 from Cabela's over a year ago that arrived WITHOUT a front sight base and still waiting for T/C to replace it...

I purchased it, in part because they advertised a "Limited lifetime warranty". It even came with a warranty card in the box: https://www.tcarms.com/warrantycard

This is more than a little bit disheartening and sours me on the Smith & Wesson Brand as a whole. Not to mention this all comes at a time when S&W is making record profits:

Good show guys!

Only took three years of #####ing, two Canadian sales presidents and finally threatening a court proceeding to get a plastic stock to replace a broken wood stock. Another gent I used to know got a lock for his gun in about---three years. Unfortunately a year after he passed.

When I bought my Encore over 20 years ago, the first year, the blueing went spotty after a light rain, could see rust dots forming under the blue that would not wipe off. Mailed it to TC, three weeks later it was back in hand with a complete new blueing job that has been fine since.

Customer service varies I guess!!

customer service was actually present before S&W took over............. been none existent since.
been waiting for a trigger a year and a half for an old omega. glad I had a fellow employee bring one across the boarder for me last year after I called T/C in the U.S. took less than a week, even during the pandemic........ swapped it out myself

Now you know what "limited" means. I'd buy a used S&W gun but the way the company is now I won't reward them.

The way that cabellas has gone stuff has to be returned right away if it even smells funny.

Sarcasm aside if anyone is unfamiliar: A limited lifetime warranty still means that a manufacturer is obligated to replace parts of a product that break or are defective over the life of the product. If they sell an item in Canada with said warranty they should take responsibility for it, the same way they took the money for it.

CZ buys Colt. S&W divests T/C. Remington goes broke. Wow.

At least a Remington won't break and comes with all its parts lol.
They went T-up due to the slimy venture company running the company, Remington made money year over year but the "owners" downloaded debt to Remington for other ventures they were pursuing, all about tax evasion/shareholders etc.
I was happy to find Wolverine had a 270 783 in stock, my brother wanted my last one and it left a hole that needed to be filled. Not too worried about warranty with Remington, never had anything from them that needed it.
