My Dad's Remington Model 11 shotgun (copy of the Browning A5). Shot up a tin can after a morning of walking with him when he went pheasant hunting. I was probably 10 or so at the time (I'm 73 now). Surprisingly not too much kick for a 12 ga. I still have that gun and it will go to my son when I pass.

Damnn. That's a good question. I don't remember. First gun purchase was 870 express.

Went with my buddy to his property to shoot so it has to be the 870 or his sks.

1st pistol I shot was tokarev and gsg1911. Bought both same time when I got my rpal many years after I had my pal

August 1990, my gramps 9mm Beretta. I remember pooping halfway through the shoot thinking this is the best day of my life...no day will ever be cooler.

Early 90's, I think I was 12 or so, my dad's friend took me shooting. I can't remember the models, but one Remington .22LR bolt action, mag-fed with a fixed 4x scope to get me used to shooting, then I shot his Remington bolt-action rifle (pretty sure it was a carbine-length rifle, also mag-fed, don't think it was a 700) in .243 Win. That got me hooked.

Edit: found them! Remington 581 .22LR and Remington 788 18.5" carbine in .243 Winchester.

can't recall, but the first gun I ever bought was a Remington 710 chambered in 270.

    It was a real POS

Can't remember what exact gun it was, but, I learned to shoot when I was in cub scouts. There was an old hanger at YVR (Vancouver International Airport at the time) that the scouts used for indoor target practice activities. All I remember was the caliber (.22) and that it was a single shot (probably a Cooey). That was back in the early 70's when you could shoot guns in a old hanger at an international airport....
