The SiOnyx Aurora Black Full-Color Night Vision Camera is a tactical night vision solution for those who need full-color night vision capability at an affordable cost. It is sensitive to wavelengths from 400 to 1100nm, and it provides a full-color image with light levels as low as 2 millilux. This enables you to record color images under near-moonless starlight. The camera is Wi-Fi enabled, has built-in GPS and accelerometer, and features a Picatinny rail mount, which offers advantages over a 1/4"-20 mount when dealing with repeated recoil. The IP67 rating means it is virtually impervious to dust intrusion and can stay submerged in 3' of water for up to half an hour, so it can easily withstand rainy weather.

The camera uses replaceable rechargeable batteries which last about two hours per charge, and it records to microSD cards (32GB capacity). In addition to its IP67 rating, the camera is weapons rated and features recoil-activated capture. The camera can record metadata, including time and location, as well as interfacing with an optional heads-up display providing data overlay. With these features and the included carrying case, the Aurora Black camera is ready for your next augmented reality nighttime adventure.

The camera has been tested on an M4 rifle and is recoil rated to 4000 rounds of 5.56 caliber ammunition when using the optional Aurora Rail Mount.

The camera comes in a hard case with protective foam. The case and foam weigh a mere 32.1 oz, and together with the camera the weight is less than 3 lb.

Capture your extreme low-light, starlight, or daylight surroundings in color with the Aurora PRO Night Vision Camera from SiOnyx. This PRO version of the Aurora features Augmented Reality and Team modes, supports up to 256GB microSD cards, and comes with two batteries and one 32GB memory card. Certified for weapons use, it can be set for recoil-activated capture in Loop mode and features compass, GPS, and accelerometer functions.

The Aurora PRO's Augmented Reality mode enables you to set waypoints and to create groups in Team Mode. AR mode provides you with the ability to see where team members are located relative to your position. Record 720p video at 7.5, 15, 24, 30, or 60 fps, snap 0.9MP stills, or stream footage at 15 fps.

The Aurora PRO incorporates a 16mm lens with selectable f/1.4, 2.0, and 5.6 aperture settings. View your activities in color or monochrome using the OLED viewfinder, or live stream your content using the Aurora app and your iOS/Android smartphone. A diopter on the EVF offers a sharp view for users with and without corrective lenses. Features include Daytime, Twilight, and Night modes with white balance automatically set to match each mode. A focus peaking function and a manual focus ring are used to keep your images sharp to a minimum distance of 8".

This compact camera mounts via its 1/4"-20 tripod thread and has a water-resistance rating of IP67, meaning it is suitable to hunting, boating, nature watching, and other outdoor activities. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery will provide a runtime of up to two hours on a single charge. The Aurora PRO comes with two batteries, a USB cable, and a foam-lined hard carrying case.

How are the reviews on the PRO ? I've been eyeballing for a long time lol
1.3k instead of 6k for Gen 3s is tempting for sure.

Also curious if they can be mounted on helmets ?
Prices including shipping DOES NOT include full insurance. Once package is in carrier's hands, it is not my responsibility anymore.

Reviews are very positive comparatively to like you said, a $6000.00 unit. They can be helmet mounted as well!
