They will do as much damage as possible, to the gun community and Canada in general, knowing full well they'll be booted in the next election. idk with how the CPC is polling and some blunders by Pierre in his first week they may try to use that to their advantage and call another election before the emergency act review happens but I think youre most likely correct, no election coming soon

The latest update, and it is really not good.
The bureaucracy in Chile has decided that the export of this shipment can not be approved until a committee sits (end September), and makes a recommendation for the minister. Thus nothing is going to move until October. When asked why this was not done over the past year, there was no response.
It's hard to tell whether this is just normal bureaucratic incompetence in Chile, or if our protestations about time being of the essence made things worse. In any event, we wait.
