Is the 542 Elite any more accurate than a regular 542? Seems just cosmetic differences?

I can't help but wonder how far along the contractually obligated lowers would have been in production if they were told to actually fulfill the contract when the error was first noticed 2 months ago.

Oh well. A man can dream.
