Those civil servants make sure your air and water are clean enough to keep you alive (EnvCan), keep road, air and marine traffic moving (TransCan and NavCan), etc. etc.

There isn't a private sector industry which does more for less money than the public sector. You may love or hate the Ministers/Gov of the day, but the civil service works its ass off at margins lower than any private sector counterfactual.

Liberals and NDP worked together to get Medicare. And Old Age Security. And Canada Pension Plan. And the Maple Leaf flag.

In a way, this handgun freeze announcement without any additional bans (the Famae for one) is a blessing in disguise for this import. The Libs don't like to stack anti gun announcements all together, they like to "spread it around". Kinda like provincial ministers announcing an infrastructure project for the umpteenth time.

This just means another OIC could be coming during another news cycle or when the Libs get caught ####ing up again. Either way we probably got a few more weeks maybe months to sweat it out IMHO.

They don't have much ammo left now.. semi-auto ban is probably the only one they can really use to earn political points. So they'll try to save it for elections, I suspect. All other cards are already on the table.

Ahahahaha, too funny. A lot of SNIVEL servants just draw a salary and #### in their office seat.

Unfortunately the gun bans are far from over as they are being released gradually as Trudeau tries to deflect from the many major blunders that he has carried out that has damaged Canada , and the economy. Expect a full semi auto ban across the board before the next federal election .

Ha ha boomers big mad at work from home. I guess everyone loves tons of traffic and unpaid hours. Turns out all the slackers are now slacking at home and all the hard workers get to work in a more comfortable and less distracting environment causing their productivity to go up.

No no let's punish the hard workers because the slackers exist. Wait where have I see punishing a group of rule followers for what the rule breakers are doing before.....I swear there is an issue just like this that effects us but it's escaping me at the moment.
