The mags are here now. We are just waiting for the rifles to arrive so we can allocate them to the pre ordered 540 rifle purchasers. Once that is done the remainder will be available for sale.

Rifle update: We are just waiting on booking details for shipping. It seems we are currently in the middle of the cherry harvest and most freight room is fully booked.

FAMAE Import Update


Well it has now been about 18 months since we put together our FAMAE order and you placed your deposit(s).

This message is to bring you up to speed on the shipment and allow you to get ready for the arrival of the rifles. For real this time!

Remember, if you have requested a refund, they will be provided as soon as the rifles arrive in Canada. For those asking for a refund on a 5.56mm rifle, we will also include a $50 credit on any future purchase from CSC. Credits will be built in our system under the customer name. To use the credit on any future purchase you will need to call in the order and identify the credit is to be used on the order.
If you choose to accept the 5.56mm rifle in the configuration provided, we now have more magazines (Swiss SG550), and those that pre ordered a 5.56mm rifle will be eligible for a 25%discount on up to three additional magazines. Since magazines are in limited supply, please let us know if you want more magazines so we can allocate them fairly.

We have also ordered a supply of parts for both 540 and 542 rifles and once again reiterate that warranty work and repairs are done right here in Calgary. We will have a spare parts kit available for those that want one (5.56mm and 7.62mm kit options), but we will not be selling individual parts.

The good news is that all export issues have FINALLY been resolved and the rifles are ready to ship. Once shipping details are finalized, we expect the rifles to land in Calgary at the beginning of December.

To help speed up shipments, we would appreciate it if those that placed pre orders could contact orders@theshootingcentre.com and provide your PAL number, address, and date of birth. We will start issuing invoices as soon as we can, and if all transfer references are completed, we will be able to ship without delay.
