Is anyone else having problems with Jo brook in Manitoba?

I ordered and paid for an item on may 15. It is now May 26 and it still not been shipped. I have called, emailed and sent a facebook message. the email and facebook message were completely ignored. I keep getting told " it will ship any day now". Seeing as they already have my money I feel that this is fraud. Has anyone else had this issue with Jo brook outdoors in Brandon Manitoba?
 
Did the webpage indicate that the item was in stock? Do there shipping details indicate a once a week shipping system or something? I guess I'd call again and see what is up. May 15 is a while ago. Your credit card won't do anything as far as a charge back for a while yet. I guess in the end, if nothing happens, that would work. Are you taking notes on each interaction?

Been eight business days or eleven calendar days...
Op, call you CC and cancel the charges.
They might be having staff issues with the alleged COVID situation in Manitoba.

Their AD says they're down to 10% of building capacity but still open.

Could be they've got Covid issues, with the recent uptick in Manitoba?

I got some stuff from them about a week ago and it only took a week from when I placed the order online.
 
I did too, tried to make a purchase back in mid April - took a week to establish communication, about another 2 weeks to ship. I just received the order in Canada Post yesterday. 6 weeks.
Remember mail in orders? Reminded me of that.

We provided you with your tracking number if there is anything else we can do for you please just ask. We appreciate your business, and please speak with your financial institution with regards to your fraudulently flagged account.

I could see that being a huge problem with a order.
 
I have shopped at Jo Brooks in person multiple times and placed one order over the phone. I can vouch for them, they have excellent staff. If not seeing an order at your door within a week or two is grounds for slandering a company.. I think you should be asking more questions before placing your order since you are special.

I wasn't complaining that it hadn't arrived. Only that it hadn't shipped.
 
You accused them of being shady because your item didn’t ship in 11 days. You said your attempts to contact were ignored and that they told you it would shut any day now (which one is it?) This all leads to public bashing and implying that a small business consists of fraudsters. Gotcha.. You should stick to purchasing things in store. I have placed many online orders and waiting over a week for an item to ship is quite normal. Some retailers have lightening quick shipping but certainly not all.
