    It's just not worth your time or money to paint prior to shipping. The paint gets dinged in the post and then we shoot off anything left. I now only paint gongs that will be out past 200 yards anyhow. Even then the paint is usually gone by the end of the day.

    Let the whiners paint their own targets!

    Bare metal all the way. Maybe host pics on your site of any interesting custom paint jobs customers deck their targets out with?

    People really complain about the paint of a steel target? That blows
    My mind, anytime I go out target shooting I have a couple of rattle cans with me to quickly repaint it whatever colour to see fresh hits again, which I am sure is what most people who actually shoot do.
