    Renegade Bolt catch

    Hi,

I think I remember that a while back, you were considering producing Renegade lowers with a bolt catch.

Did I make that up or was it a thing? If so, is there any update at all?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Yes we are working on that currently and we expect it should be ready by the end of the summer!

If you want to stay up to date on our release of these you can subscribe to our newsletter and we'll be announcing it on there before posting about it on social.

    Thanks

Will the new lowers be compatible with the original uppers?

Is it practical to modify one of the existing lowers to add a bolt catch (I'm guessing not)?

Should be relatively easy to upgrade a Renegade lower since it's the upper that's the serial-number part. (But even that's not much trouble being NR.)

A bolt catch will be a very good and useful thing, especially with magazines that are a bit too snug to load readily under a closed bolt.

Is MRA still developing proprietary magazines for the new lowers?

The Renegade Mark 2 is designed to accept STANAG magazines and a proprietary magazine that is in the final stages of development.
