Yup , I’ve been buying factory ammo and pulling them apart to salvage the primers and powder, tossing the brass cases and projectiles. This is the way.

Even down here in the South West powder is all over the place, there are deals on various brands at Gun Shows best deals are on the second day afternoon because tables run at 185.00 us each, there is no shortage of powder even at the Gun Shops but @ 10% sales tax it pushes the price up a bit.
Best price on CCI Primers SP,LP,SR,LR 95.00 per/k or up to 125.00 per/k some quantities are limited i help a dealer/friend on weekends who sells Guns & Ammo for a business in return for supplies at wholesale cost so i pay in personal time for stock, big win for me so i don't feel the pinch as other retiree's feel.
    IMR 4198 40.00 us @ 1 lb all in
    IMR 3031 30.00 us @ 1 lb all in
    IMR 8208 60.00 us @ 1 lb all in
Bullseye 100.00 us @ 4 lb all in
Titegroup 240.00 us @ 8 lb all in
I don't plan too ever return to Canada now that the laws have changed, i like the freedom with no restrictions on buying or selling guns
all i do is show my State driver Lic. pay and walk away it is that easy and in Arizona i don't even need a CCW to carry, It is a shooters dream.

Reality check: $80 a lb on any powder is now the new normal in Canada, H4350 and Varget sells for $120-$130 a lb and nobody can keep it in stock at those prices, I happily paid $250 per 1000 for Federal 210 large rifle primers this week and $140 per 1000 for small rifle primers, sadly they will be double that by spring 2023. This is how the shooting sports die in Canada not to mention hunting, it’s all by design.
