At 196gr it's heavy. Does not sound like a varmint round. Now don't get me wrong...I buy all manner of guns and calibers and things I might not need. soooo what does a person use this exact round for ?
I think its a "rainny day" bulllet.

Would be intresting to mod an sks gas system to cycle this.

have you tried gas setting #2 on your 81?

I would be interested in the accuracy. I once reloaded number of 7.62x39 subsonic loads with 220 gr .311 bullets and trailboss. They were 3 MOA @ 100 yards out of a CZ 527.

I would like to see 154gr soft points and this weight in a soft point. As FMJ it's a little goofy in use IMHO. I'm glad the option is out there, however.

Would it cycle with the Type 81 on setting #2?

Waiting impatiently for one of the vendors to advertise it.

does anywhere in Canada sell it? I've been looking for a couple years to no avail. Always "out of stock" and never in stock

I've got a few boxes but I haven't seen it for sale in at least ten years now I think about it.
