So much for democracy.
Democracy has nothing to do with it. This is capitalism you're mad about.
It's the choice of the business to conduct itself how it pleases, including but not limited to choosing to not transport firearms and ammo.

Death to an industry and way of life by 1000 cuts is what is happening.
Maybe it’ll have the adverse effect , maybe more gun stores will open . Locally I got cabelas , sail and one small shop close by so not a great selection/pricing thus I do most of my shopping online . If online stops shipping , I’m sure more shops will pop up
Ugh. Pretty soon the only way to get a firearm shipped is going to be by oxen-drawn buggy - even horses will be verboten!

Vote NDP if you have a brain

Private companies cannot do whatever they please. There are laws in free capitalist societies which prevent discrimination against citizens and businesses conducting lawful trade and commerce, and Canada has anti-discrimination laws. Hunting and sports shooting are legal and regulated under the laws of the country and provinces and territories; the PAL and RPAL are legal and regulated under the laws of the country. Shipping companies have no legal right to discriminate against the people of Canada for shipping and commerce of legal goods and services. This is lawsuit material.
There are other laws and regulations regarding shipping and packaging "dangerous goods", and these have standards and procedures, but are not defacto no-go's. Flammable (inflammable) goods and cargos are transported every minute of every day. The gasoline or diesel in the shipper's truck is poisonous, carcinogenic, and highly flammable (inflammable). Fertilizers, fuels, numerous industrial chemicals, and radioactive materials are on the roads, railways and airways every minute of every day.
All industries have safety laws and regulations to follow. These are not loopholes to allow discrimination.
As to your signature lines Vewdu:
You eliminate credibility for your arguments by telling everyone they have no brain, or half a brain, etc, unless they vote for the party you approve of, and only then you will grant them a brain. Might want to think about that.

Wait what were we talking about?

Within obvious reason.
This isn't lawsuit material. Why? Because firearms and explosives are controlled and regulated devices/materials. If a company chooses to forgo a particular cargo in a B2C capacity, they can cite insurance, training, liabilities, reduction of grewhatever they so please. I know of some companies that will transport gasoline and diesel, but will refuse to move AVGAS, race fuel and Nitromethane. Whether it's the truth or not, doesn't matter, that's their stance they choose to publicly take. Transportation of dangerous goods is just a lawset/guideline outlining how certain materials are to be moved via Sea/Ground/Air, a company CAN pick and choose which UN Codes they will transport or not. Again, they can just pick the best excuse. Now if they came out and pulled a Poly Remembers style ad campaign to announce they are dropping guns, etc, then you would have a leg to stand on for a lawsuit, albeit a weak one.
It's low hanging fruit, an easy way to see who gets easily upset about nothing.
