I'm real giddy to get my lower. Batch 2 can't be done fast enough.

I received my lower it’s utterly amazing piece and quality matches higher end brand. Thank you for doing this! Really appreciate it!

I can’t wait for what the upper looks like.

Were you able to test the upper over the weekend?

We are about 50% done CNC work on the prototype. It takes time to get it right.

Agreed, measure thrice, cut once. We have the WK as an example when you measure only half :-p

Our upper is not based on the WK or MCR. It's based on the geometry of the barrel, bolt, piston, guide rods, and springs.

I did not mean you were actually using the WK as a basis for the SBI upper. I meant it more as an example of something that was rushed to production; the WK was known to have several iterations of problems that had to be worked out over time that might well have been avoided if more care had been taken when designing and building the prototype. It is better for SBI to take its time and iterate the design as much as necessary to have a dependable firearm out of the box.

BCG's from both WK and MCR rifles will work with our upper. Our DI bcg is still in development and not necessary to use our upper.

Can you tell me more about the DI? Will it still be a left side CH?
And it will still be compatible with your current lower. Right?
