Has there been any indication as to whether or not they'll include a hole for the rear pin on the WS-MCR?

No, there has been no indication. Looking at the the Zhukov adapter, it looks like the default is no pin. However, the pin would plug into the rear swappable stock area, so it should in theory be possible to drill out a hole prior to applying the finishing for the lower stock portion. Hopefully SBI will stock a certain percentage drilled out for MCR users, or else make that part on demand on a per receiver order basis either with or without the hole. Would it be possible to apply finishing in just the hole portion if it is drilled out after? Or does the MCR rear pin hole even have finishing material inside? Conversely, would the hole compromise the function of the lower or even be visible if it was present on a lower installed on a WK?

There will be no hole for MCR upper 2nd take down pins and here's why:

1) It's not needed at all with our lower. We tightened up tolerances to eliminate wobble. This makes the 2nd pin a useless part. Don't worry, it's super easy to remove the pin.

2) With the Lynx 180B there's no stock adapters for different style stocks like there is on the WK180C, Nodak Spud, and WS-MCR. Instead the entire rear of the receiver can be swapped out. This allows us to have a shorter and lighter receiver compared to any others. This also means the MCR rear take down pin doesn't align with anything well and would require us to add extra material for it to work.

3) If we were to support the MCR's pin we would need to move the entire stock down which would ruin the cheek weld. This is because on the AR carbine stock the pin would hit the buffer tube threads, on the 1913 stock the pin would hit the rail, and with the Zhukov stock the pin would hit the stock shank pocket.

4) It's easier to field strip without the pin.

5) Our upper receiver will not have one.

No, the first batch will be done and shipped by the time the stock mounts are ready. We are working on sourcing Zhukov stocks.
