Did you read the reply from the retailer? Buddy is trying to buy a scope and have it shipped to an address other than the billing address and he's also a first time customer. I don't blame SFRC for being cautious and asking for more details to cover their ass.

lol. for a scope? want to play the game as an online business, you assume the risk. funny how much garbage people on this site excuse from retailers that they would screach about in other threads if it was the liberals doing it.

SFRC is fantastic. I opened an account. signed up for the newsletter. and get the sale notices promptly. Gotten many a fantastic deal from them in the last year. I managed to keep my credit card in my wallet this time around though. lol

It's not cool for a small retailer to ship a 2k scope just to get hit by a charge back a couple of days later. I understand the need to validate an ID especially when shipping/billing adress is different.
