So, what we're saying here is you can legally buy the longer non restricted "rifle" version of this but the 6.5" version is considered a pistol but you can legally buy just the 6.5" "upper" just fine (because it's not a firearm itself) and attach it to the "lower" from the non restricted version and you think you could then get it registered as a restricted rifle?
It's a fun idea and maybe dumb enough to actually work with our laws at least a few times but I wouldn't be the guinea pig who tries it with my own money lol
