That's a lot less metal on the back of the 1st SKS keeping a lot of moving mass under control. I'd be leery of that one myself. Probably will be fine. Or maybe not.

would i want to own one to shoot one regularly? no. But I do like the "Fallout" games/ mad max vibe. They kinda look more like a post apocalyptic movie prop then a bubba gump shrimp build!

This is how a $200 SKS should be bubba'd, for $0 dollars and with artistic flair. This is an SKS that knows what it is but still wants to party. What one should shake their head at and say 'no' too is a $1000 of accessories on a SKS in a ridiculous attempt to make an SKS into something it can never be.
