    New Production Mosin Nagant based on MOSIN NAGANT MODEL M44

    Hello Everyone,
    We got a couple of gems in.
    The best part of this rifle that I like brand-new barrel.
    The stock looks great and a fresh smell Russian oil is awesome.

    Description
    Caliber 7.62x54
    Limited edition version M44 style Mosin Nagant rifle. Manufactured in Russia.
    Barrel length: 514 mm (20.2 in) (carbines)
    Action: Bolt action
    Length: 1,013 mm (39.9 in) (carbines)
    Effective firing range: 500 metres (550 yd), 800

    Isn't this more akin to an M38 with the lack of folding bayonet? Weird name for it, but looks interesting - a heavily re-worked 91/30 from the hex receiver and appearance of the bolt, but I could certainly be mistaken.

    The magazine is refurb surplus but the front sight is unique. The stock is definitely M44. You can see the bayo groove on the upper right side. It looks like sling escutcheons are missing. I'm going to take a guess that the barrel is new and everything else is refurb. Very nice!

    So, this is how much a newly (re)manufactured Mosin would cost (are you still complaining about $400 Mosins, lol?).. Looks really nice except for that banner on the receiver. I wish they could come up with a less ugly import mark. I would buy if I hadn't had my M91/59 already.
