Picatinny Side Mount

No-drill, Picatinny Side Mount for Type 81. The side mount installation is completely reversible and does not involve any drilling or permanent alterations to the rifle.





The mount was custom engineered and manufactured specifically for the Type 81 rifle and was extensively tested to ensure reliability, durability and zero-holding properties. The mount consists of replacement hammer and trigger receiver pins with threaded ends on one side and hex indentations on the other. The replacement pins thread into the adapter plate, while the safety is replaced with a right-hand safety. The picatinny side mount is quick-detach and fits over the adapter plate. The picatinny side mount has a slight declination in order to align optics with POI.

The pins are custom manufactured in the USA of Grade 8.8 strength steel while the adapter plates are precision machined in Canada of 6061 T6 alloy with Mil 8625 Type 3 Hardcoat.

Comes with threaded trigger pin, threaded hammer pin, adapter plate, right hand safety and quick-detach picatinny mount. Priced at just $199. While supplies last.

We specially imported the Russian Military PK-06 sights for use with the Type 81 side mount. These mil-spec, compact and lightweight red dots are a perfect match for the Type 81.

Important Notes
-Not suitable for left handed shooting. In order to maintain cheek-weld the mount is located as low as possible. Unfortunately this means some protrusion below receiver that somewhat blocks easy access to trigger from left side. It can still be shot left handed but it not comfortable/recommended. We will have left handed options before end of 2021.
-Due to patterns of ejected brass, mounted optics must not protrude over the picatinny rail. It is recommended that face of optics are set-back approximately 1-2 notches from edge of rail to avoid brass strikes.

Slant Compensator for Type 81 LMG.



Small, compact and lightweight option to reduce muzzle flip, specifically manufactured for Type 81 LMG. When firing offhand, the rifle will recoil up and away from support hand, therefore the idea for the slant compensator was born to counteract this diagonal movement. This compensator features 3 positions; off-hand right hand shooting, bench/bi-pod shooting and off-hand left hand shooting.

Important
This will not fit with Type 81 LMG's purchased in 2021 (serial numbers 20202001+) as these have a different threading that was not disclosed by factory. Compensators for 2021 Type 81 LMG's are currently in the process of being manufactured and should be available before end of the year.

PK-06 Reflex Sight



Introducing the iconic PK-06 Reflex Sight. Manufactured by renowned Russian Military Optics manufacturer Zenit-Belomo, this sight is well regarded for its durability, small size and functionality.

The PK-06 is built from solid aluminum and finished in a reflection free ruggedized finish. It is shockproof, waterproof, with a sealed body for use in severe conditions. The design is slim and snag free without protrusions that can get caught on environments or equipment. The sight features a large window with thin lens hood, producing an exceptionally clear and obstruction free field of view. The sight is remarkably lightweight and compact, measuring just 90 grams (3.2oz) and 73x35x53mm (2.87x1.37x2.08") in size. The base features drain holes for use in heavy rain.

The PK-06 uses laser-generated "heads-up display" (HUD) technology to superimpose a reticle pattern onto a filtered lens to provide precision CQB target acquisition. The sight features 3 different reticle patterns; 1 MOA Dot, 3 Bar Reticle and 1 MOA Dot + 3 Bar Reticle. Lens features a hood to cover reticle from sunlight.

The sight is incredibly simple and easy to use, with large tactile buttons easily actuated with winter gloves. The left side button controls reticle type and the right button cycles between On, Off and Night Vision modes.

Gen.2 features new crystal clear glass and upgraded finish. Chip glare effect from Gen 1 is removed.
