    Do you seriously need one?

Over half this country thinks the conservatives are so right leaning, theyll take away abortion rights and let people carry automatic rifles up and down the sidewalk whilst chanting white pwr.

    Its insanity.

You make it sound like they weren't the main opponent to abortion rights the entire time...

Hell, most of the time they won't even give a clear answer on it when asked spouting bull #### like "We don't think the political climate is right to address that at this time"

If the CPC thought they could get away with it I have zero doubt whatsoever that they'd close every planned parenthood clinic they could find. O'Toole wouldn't even talk about it when he came to Fredericton, just gave a hand waving answer that the premier told him that it wasn't an issue.

I'd hardly say that saying the CPC is anti-abortion rights is insanity.

    It's recent history.

So, what now? Do we have options beside bending over and taking it in the ass?

Liberanos were clear on the gun issue.
They said exactly what they want and that’s why majority of people believe them.
Conservatives were shy. Everyone is shy for some reason when it comes to firearms.
Why? What, it’s not politically correct to support legal gun owners of Canada?
F you all! This country is doomed!

You’re not wrong. I felt like the Liberals were dictating the narrative, despite tons of the topics that could be brought up by the Conservatives. They were on defence though…just like Scheer was in 2019.

When you have bought and paid for the souls of all media outlets in Canada you can brainwash people into thinking that conservatives are Nazis who want to put guns into the hands of every thug in Canada. The Liberals own all major media including our state broadcaster the CBC and they bury negative stories and no longer allow Canadians to weigh in on the issues. Comment sections are CRUCIAL to proper journalism; its keeps the publisher in check and allows the people to express their opinions. If the CBC wants our opinion; they will give it to us.

well, seems like there's not too many options. Chances to gun ban reverting before April are extremely slim. After that it's either surrendering or hiding and hoping that "they won't imprison us all".
Of course there is an option to try bringing the matter into the court, but realistically...

Settling down to "simpler" firearms that is not restricted by now (bolt-actions, levers etc) might not be great idea either, becuase outlawing every rifled firearm might be their next step.

While libs are clearly "bad guys" in this matter, opposite can't be said about cons. There is simply no "good guys" in politics right now and in foreseeable future.

    so..

    Yes. Exactly.
Anti-abortion nonsense, social conservatism, etc. are vote poison in big cities and ‘burbs…where the winning votes/seats are.
It’s why O’Toole went for a revamp of classification…using experts only…apolitical. Tried to make it somewhat palatable. He should have started that way.

But that's not what is being said.
What's being said is that if O'Toole won then they would take action and make it illegal.
    Believing that is insanity.
