Masks Required Again as of Friday Sept 03, 2021

Edmonton city council has ordered that masks are required again in all public access buildings and of course that would include our store. Once again the onus is on individual stores to comply with and require customers have masks when in our store. Same as before until Dec 31, 2021. We are not happy with this but must comply to stay in business. Last go around the heath department came in on a couple of complaints and threatened to close us down. Phil.

Really depends on if Nickel pulls off the win. Its pretty much down to him or Sohi.

This is an interesting race. I think sohi is doing so well just because of name recognition. He got turfed so easily in the last election.

Nickel was my councilor, I'm a little on the fence about the guy. He tends to vote the way I like, but it always seems to be for the wrong reasons. Like when I contacted him about the mask bylaw, and he wrote back that he thought masks were great, but was voting against it because he felt was provincial jurisdiction, not municipal. WTF?

But I guess in politics, just as long as he votes the right way that's as good as I can hope for.
