Lol!! That's cute. At a price point comparable to an intermediate rifle cartridge, I'm sure I can find a better varmint load.

Dad always used them in his revolver. Took care of snakes quite handily. Of course he always used the .22WMR's though.
I found the .22 LR very ineffective, and rarely killed cleanly. I had the pleasure of blasting close range gophers in SK many years ago with.22WMR's out of a convertible Ruger Single Six. They worked, but nothing past about 10 yards, and most were at 5 yards or less. What an infestation.

Maybe, but can you find one that wont blow holes in your barn roof?

Ive used these before. They work well for me on mice and small rats but my chicken coop is about 18 feet long and i wasnt up against the wall.

They also work well for blasting under the kitchen sink at mice too (or in the unfinished basement). Just open the cupboard door and put some seed down, sit back with a coffee and wait. They dont damage anything but the mice.

After i used the box i didnt buy any more though.

The aguila colrobi and super colrobi are fun to play with too. But watch out for ricochets

The ultimate "rat suppressor" is Joseph Carter-The mink man on YouTube. If you want to see hundreds of rat vermin problems solved by his dogs and his black mink.
If you hate rats as much as I do, check out his YouTube channel. I've never seen so many rats killed over a couple of days at farms. The big black dog kills 'em with one quick bite.
The smaller Terrier has to grab one by the back and shakes its head until it's spine snaps. But the real "rat killer" is that black mink he sends into and under their hiding places.
Flushes them out for the dogs to quickly kill, but if they're trapped, that mink is a natural born killer. The rats are afraid to move and he kills 'em all one at a time.
Some of them rats are effn' big too.
