I see you guys have some GP echo tubes in stock. Why is the gain so much higher than WP tubes?

Does it result in better low light performance ?

Photonis hasn't disclosed the technical reason of "why" their GP tubes are higher gain but potentially related to the amount of green phosphor that can be deposited onto the output screen.
But yes - it absolutely equates to a brighter image and better low light performance compared to WP.

When using a thermal clip-on, does the quality of the day scope's lenses matter at all? Since when using a clip-on, you're only viewing a picture of a small screen merely inches away, would an expensive scope have any advantage? This is assuming that the cheap scope tracks ok.

Glass quality is going to matter a lot less in this application for precisely the reason you stated. That being said, the strength of such a system is to be able to add thermal when you need it, so I would imagine you would still want a good day scope for the instances when you're not using your thermal. Unless you're planning on it being a permanent clip-on?

Hi there, I’m very interested in getting into dual tube setup. Do you carry any tubes that’s not made-in-china? Looks like photonis echo tubes are china-made too (from their website)

I’m interested in RNVG (Echo 1600-2000 FOM) or RNVG (Echo+ 2000+ FOM) both are in-stock it appears. How long’s the lead time?
And I understand both are autogated right? And the housing is made in the states?

What's the rough cost to get into a single or dual bino setup. I don't know a lick of NV, all I know is I want a setup.

At the low-end, a monocular setup should run you about $4000 incl. mounting hardware, $3200 ish for just the monocular.
For binoculars, they start at around $6500.
Take a look at our Ready to Ship section.
