Kobra red dot sight

My reticle has a halo when not on the two lowest settings. Anyone else experience this bleeding effect?

I see that with a lot of dot sights when they’re turned up to bright for the environment your in - my Kobra, Aimpoint, Eotech, etc

I have slight astigmatism and every reticle except the dot alone are very crisp for me. The dot by itself starbursts a little though like any other red dot for me.

as suggested could you post a picture taken even with your camera and the red dot on different settings.?

No issue, all normal as per TI

I bought a Kobra off EE here and I notice a red circle effect to the top left of reticle. It's quite interfering and I'm not sure if it's a faulty device. Any insight?

How much space is there from inside the kobra body and the reciever (not on top of the dust cover but on the left side of the reciever.
I have a different style mount on my reciever (real AK mount) but is sits on the reciever tighter then Herrons mounts.

I just want to make sure there is some space there. I need about a millimeter of space roughly to be able to slide the kobra on.

I don't know if anyone has answered your question or not, but the Kobra body is very close to the rifle receiver on the left side.

I don't think it would fit on a normal AK mount, on the side of a Type 81 - the mount would have to allow more space between the receiver and optic, as the TI side rail does.
