wondering if the Magpul handguard is a drop-in fit or still needs some modification like GG&G does…

Shockwave handguards fit it. 14 inch barrel as well.

Magpul forend will not fit 14” barrel version. There are a few threads on this in the black and green shotgun sub forum. I ended up cutting about 1.5 off the front of mine. Works great so far.

Grabbed one a few months ago. Absolutely rock solid shotgun. Speedfeed stocks sucks, replaced it with a magpul stock and a Surefire DSF up front. Just make sure you loctite all the sight screws. Ran mine through a 3 day shotgun course without doing so, and all 3 sight screws backed out. Since then it has been absolutely bomb proof.
