    Don't think I would line up for one, part of the shooting "fun" for me is the bang and smell of burnt gunpowder.

    A longer barrel might up the speed. I am also wondering if it has some sort of magnetic shielding or if it's a don't use near your credit cards sort of thing.

    Just thinking out loud.
    To stabilized the trajectory when fired wouldn't they have to be spinning?
    Sense they are disks ( think frisbees) and will ark after a certain distance what rpm would they have to turn say for 100 yards?
    So to pre spin them another magnetic field to suspend them before firing( think of a laboratory beaker mixer).
