Receiver mating profile looks same as AR-15 so I would expect it to be classified as a variant.

Yep lower receiver looks the same just like the Mossberg 715 tactical. Oh wait that is just two pieces of plastic in the shape of an AR15 screwed together and its a variant

Defiantly looks like a cool gun. I’m no expert but it looks like a variant to me. I can’t see it getting a green light unless they make a crappier version that is adaptable with the “180b pattern” lower. Then it will have questionable reliability and be safe for Canadian consumption. In this hellish configuration it’s a weapon of war and is just too darn dangerous for us.

That’s outstanding. Certainly doesn’t look like a standard upper/lower would fit. If there were a NR version I’d be very interested in getting one.

The FM15 is just an upper than mates to any AR15 lower.
