    Wow! Nice job!

    I need one of these for my Grandfather's old Savage 342 in 22 Hornet! It has one of those old 7/8 th inch horrible Weaver scopes on it!

    Will it fit the 342?

    Cheers,

    Ian

    Hey Ian. I believe they will, but I'll get you to take a look at the "sub variant hole spacing" picture on my web page and fill in the blanks with a set of calipers.

    Ok, my calipers kinda suck, but this is what I could get from them for my model 342.

    A = 14.68 mm +/- 0.10 ish
    B = 38.40 mm +/- 0.10 ish
    C = 14.46 mm +/- 0.10 ish

    ID of hole is 3.58 mm +/- 0.10 mm

    Yep, that should work.
    I'll be making a run of these mounts in the next few weeks, I'd be happy to put your name on one if you would like.

    Regards!

    Did you ever get around to making more of these scope mounts up? Weather in getting nice out there, and I'd love to be able to put a good scope on the 342 and try it out! Haven't shot it in a very long time!

    Hey Smit, I'm hoping we connected on this long ago... For the record, yes we have made more and have some available in stock.
