If one wanted to build from scratch, where are buying the guts like BCG?

Until SBI is ready to produce its own receiver internal parts (you can get the buffer tube, stock, pistol grip, and muzzle device from SBI), you could order the rest of the parts from True North Arms (everything else) and Third Echelon (upgraded BCG and mid length piston).

Of course it is preferable to use the Lynx lower, but would the Lynx upper fit a standard WK lower in or a made for WK Spec 180 lower?

We didn't test it with any other lower. We only support using it with the Lynx 180B lower.

There's plenty of people with lowers of other types who'd be happy to buy your upper if we can at least get a "yes it fits but we don't officially support it" type statement.

It is understandable if SBI wants to hold off testing this scenario until they give all Lynx lower buyers a reasonable time period to buy Lynx uppers first.

I mean it's called the "lynx 180b upper" for a reason. It wasn't designed to fit any other lower. Doesn't mean it won't fit but doesn't mean it will work well even if it does either. If they haven't done testing on it so it's understandable they can't just give you a yes or no. It's just not that simple.

Due to variances in other lowers we can even say it fits. So officially it's only for the Lynx 180B. If you put it on a different lower maybe it will work, maybe it wont.
