DAA Dillon Click Adjustable Powder Knob

The DAA Click-Adjustable Powder Knob V2, is the 2nd generation offering from DAA. Building on the experience and feedback of the first model, this one is, simply put, better!

The two piece aluminum structure eliminates the need to tie the base piece to the powder dropper, and the assembled spring-loaded steel balls (2 of them, for smoother function) make assembly a breeze. (No more battling with trying to keep the steel ball in place which assembling the knob!)
The DAA Click-Adjustable Powder Knob V2 makes setting and adjusting your powder charge much easier and more precise. And it looks so cool too!

The large 32mm round, aluminum machined and laser engraved knob, is knurled around the outer edge making it easy and convenient to rotate the bolt and adjust the charge. The two piece system includes two spring-ball assemblies, which click over pockets in the back of the knob, creating loud audible clicks to accurately rotate the dial in steps of 18deg, 20 clicks per rotation. These adjustments are easily small enough for any practical adjustment of the measured powder charge.

The laser engraved dial indicates direction for increasing or decreasing the charge, and the numbers make it easy to keep track of what the correct position should be for one load or another.
The DAA Click-Adjustable Powder Knob V2 assembles in seconds on your existing Dillon powder dispenser adjustment bolt. A 2mm helen key is required (not included)

Designed for use on the Small Dillon Charge bar. Does not fit the large Rifle charge bar!

They truly are excellent, well made products! Just remember - doesn't work with the large charge bar.

At first it seems like a great powder adjustment tool. I bought one while the business was “on vacation.” ????????? (really?) A bit over a month later they shipped it.
Installation was a little more than troublesome on my Dillon RL550 powder measure. A set screw is driven into the powder-measure extension & is secured down there. Seems that at top-dead-center the back of the unit seriously bumps up against the powder bar spring extension, & spring, making it almost impossible the move the graduation front wheel in any direction.
What all this means is that its not just a simple instillation.

Considerable dremmel tool time must be employed to relieve a serious amount of material from the rear cylinder, at the top, where the powder spring & extension is, to allow the front cylinder to freely spin. I tried multiple times to install & re-install the unit to make it work but the only way was to physically remove material from the rear top cylinder.

So, to summarise, the rear cylinder disc must be relieved of material at the top to ensure the powder bar extension & spring can freely move, thereby allowing the front disc to work. After that it worked. I’m not unhappy or trying to grind the maker, but *as shipped* it just wouldn’t work. I have pics, just ask……

Sorry, it sounds like something was not right with your unit and you should have contacted us or DAA with that issue. It literally was a 2 minute installation on my own Dillon press and I have not had any other customers experience the same issue you had.

I have this on three of my pistol caliber setups using an XL750 with no issues. Nothing hits anything on either the up or down stroke on this press. As stated earlier though, this won't fit on the large powder drops.

I have a Dillon 550B and I use them on five pistol caliber setups and no problems with anything rubbing or hitting.
