Damn. I’m getting very excited. Amazing to hear an a2 adapter is en route, too! I’ll have to treat it like a normal modern gun for a while before geeking out and making a classic service rifle build, and that’s a-ok with me! It’s very reminiscent of the MCX in terms of aesthetics and customization

I would like to do this type of build as well 👌🏼👍🏼

Are you talking about rain and snow? Now that there are rifles out there in the wild, I am sure we'll find out definitively soon enough with real world examples.

In our testing, we did freeze (and refreeze) a rifle and then shoot it we could test the springs / moving parts under stress and they all passed.

How many units are they going to build in that February shipment?

The MK 3 is a ways away. We want to get the regular flow of SAI R18MK2's going before we ask SAI to do anything else for us. This is a pretty costly adventure for everyone involved.

SAI wants to be able to ship me up to 200 guns a month by the end of Feb on a steady go forward basis.
