This gives purchasers of the rifle some upgrades that were never initially going to be offered with the Mk2, such as the adjustable Gas Block which is necessary for anyone contemplating a calibre change.

The adjustable Gas Blocks will be sent out free of charge to anyone purchasing one of the "Pencil Barrel" Rifles equipped with a Fixed Gas Block. That said, the intent is to stockpile sufficient spare parts that folks will be able to purchase any part that they want.
To clarify: The plan is to release about 40 rifles in total initially. this will be a mixture of MOE Grey, MOE FDE and Zhukov Folding (Blk). They will come out the same day at The Shooting Edge (Calgary) and Target Sports (Gormley)

These rifles all work as is, otherwise they would not be released ;-)

These will have the full pencil barrel, non-adjustable gas blocks and an aluminum cocking plate and standard guide rods.

In testing, we found that; if you dropped the guide rods "just right", the nitriding made them too fragile and they "could" crack or shear from the back plate.... Its an easy fix... don't drop them ;-)

Whomever buys these first limited rifles will get a free replacement back plate, guide rods, improved return springs and a steel cocking plate... all easy to swap, sent out automatically.

What you do not get is a new gas block. There really is zero reason to swap the gas block on the existing rifle as it works great. If you want an adjustable gas block, wait till February.

We have also asked SAI to sell us parts and they have agreed, so by mid-Jan, we should also have a complete listing of SAI parts on our websites and in-store. We will NOT be selling receiver sets at this time.

On a different note; we have asked SAI to also make us a smallish run of 7075 T6 receiver sets. These will be delivered in Feb/Mar... pricing to be determined later as they have not quoted us yet.

For those thinking about the MK3; that is 6+ months away. The plan is to get these out, and stabilize before moving on.

We'll gladly sell you parts... but they will come with a "tail light warranty".... ;-)

Expect to see them before the new year... The only screwing us up right now is shipping.

Indeed, if anything is coming through Canada Post, Christmas is combining with staff going on unpaid leave to avoid the a vaccine to make a complete shipping poo storm. I've heard a third of the Edmonton processors are not working, and even Lamont had its post office closed back at the end of November (though I think they've brought in a replacement worker since) , https://globalnews.ca/news/8411803/c...arcel-service/ .

When you finally are able to sell the rifles, congratulations on being the first to bring a "Gucci" 180 to the market!

So I believe that "several hundred a month" production numbers have been mentioned. You're selling 40 at first, how many a month from january onwards?

Will the mk3 be significantly more expensive than the mk2?

Thank you for taking the 7075 T6 sets into consideration, much appreciated.

So to clarify - 40 rifles initially, then a 6 month wait for reatock? That sucks :/
