There have been many rumours circulating about the warranty service that IRUNGUNS customers receive whenever they require warranty service. We would like to take a minute to establish the facts and explain what our customers can expect when they purchase firearms from IRUNGUNS.

IRUNGUNS holds numerous licenses and has the capability to export, back to the U.S., any firearm that we initially imported into Canada. This means that, in the unlikely event that your firearm would require warranty service, it will be returned directly to the manufacturer’s plant for any work that is covered by their policy, including any recall that should occur at any time after your initial purchase, including voluntary upgrades.

There are many advantages to having your firearms serviced by the manufacturer for warranty, as opposed to sending them to a warranty center in Canada.

First technicians who are employed by large firearm manufacturers undergo hundreds of hours of training. In addition to being formally educated gunsmiths and machinists, they usually specialise in certain models of firearm and work on those same types of firearm on a daily basis.

Second, they have all the proper tools at their disposal and parts in stock to keep the turnaround times as short as possible. They also have the original equipment used to finish or coat the firearms and can correct any esthetic issue that would have presented during service. Occasionally there are very large recalls which may cause delays in service but, generally speaking, the firearms that are sent for warranty are usually returned within a matter of weeks.

Third, in the event of extreme issues or critical failures, the manufacturer has the ability to completely replace a firearm. In the case of restricted firearms, should this happen to you, we will handle all the processing and ensure that the new one is registered to you before it arrives in Canada.

Consequently, there are many advantages to purchasing firearms from a specialized importer like IRUNGUNS. As long as the issue that arises with your firearm are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty policy, IRUNGUNS will ensure that it is serviced correctly by the manufacturer.

    The IRUNGUNS Team
Completely agree. From personal experience i had an issue with my Kimber TLE RLII as diagnosed by LV. Sent the slide directly to Kimber in the US and they returned my slide, brand new in 5wks. I later had an issue with Kimbers SIS model and sent it to the warranty center (as directed by Kimber USA) in Canada. Over one year later, and a rusted gun returned to me, the problem was still not fixed. It took them several times to admit that i had an unsafe firearm (hammer/sear pins were drilled incorrectly from factory and subsequently the hammer would disengage from the sear randomly to sit in the half cock position), after which it was finally fixed by bushings. That was the last Kimber 1911 i owned as i did not want to get stuck with a lemon and have to deal with Warranty service in Canada.

Just out of curiosity....aside from the previously mentioned bayonet lug, are there any other differences between this one and the canadian models?

Also is there a fixed exchange rate, or does it fluctuate by day as the rate slightly changes?
    Thank you.

PS edit for one more question:
Does it also come with the usual soft case & cleaning kit & 1 Pmag?

According a other retailer here, all future x95 will be from the US, grey market or not. No more rifles from the holy land.

Only other differences are that the polymer shell of the receiver will be marked with iwi us' information instead of israel, and the number of the components will be manufactured stateside instead of in Israel to be US 922r compliant.

The exchange you pay is dictated by your credit card as you pay US funds.

The soft case is a North Sylva imports thing as they get the rifles in bulk crates and repackage in a cheap chinese NCstar case before shipping to retailers. If you want to see how these come packaged in a cardboard box, search x95 unboxing from any US source on youtube

I doubt that very much so considering IWI.us' main key components are all made in the Israel plant, and just the 922r components are made and installed stateside. There's just no real benefit to halting direct exports to Canada.

I'm not sure which retailer you were referencing butt I suspect they may be alluding to the fact that they will no longer be purchasing stock from North Sylva and instead my be intending to purchase from a US exporter like IRG.

Thank you...for some reason I thought I wantched even the US videos/reviews in which the X95 came in a soft case (maybe some of their retailers/distributors could have had the same idea).

Either way, I would love to hear some opinions on the US made vs the Israeli made as far as the final QC is concerned..etc.

To me this is same as with cars...same model could be made at different plants (sometimes even different countries)..except some of the plants have a better reputation than others, when it comes to quality control.
It would be interesting to hear from someone in the know.

    Another question for IRUNGUNS:
How long does it take for it to arrive from the time of making the order? (approx)

If its on the .ca side it is in the Edmonton warehouse and will ship in a short time frame l as if you were to buy from a gun store in a similar location.

I ordered one of these based upon the aforementioned bayonet lug and pictured bayonet lug shown above.
No such bayonet lug exists on the rifle.
What a disappointment. I would have ordered elsewhere had I known the bayonet lug was not actually included. And it would have actually been cheaper and included more accessories had I ordered elsewhere also.
