i just ordered a Trail model. I am not worried about the 2 MOA accuracy guarantee, as watching reviews of the new rifle it was clearly explained that this accuracy figure is based on the 7.62x39 chambering, where the bulk of standard ammo fired is exected to be crap-quality bulk surplus. The .223 and .300 Blk versions are expected to group at or under 1 MOA, which is fine by me. There is no reason for the 600 Trail to be any less accurate than the other versions of the rifle, based on the identical action, a semi-heavy barrel profile, etc. You guys whining about the Trail's accuracy guarantee would be well-advised to read into things before commenting in ignorance...

TFBTV's Review of the CZ 600 Trail starts at the 2:50 mark. Note the comments regarding the accuracy guarantee: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb0Jd9GTyE8

I am curious as to why no .300 Blk chambering is being offered by TESRO, since TFBTV's review from the IWA show clearly stated that this was a factory option. This would be my preferred calibre for the Trail, and I will be looking for an after-market .300 Barrel solution to make that happen ASAP.

Looking forwards to the new rifle - it takes the "Modern Precision Field Rifle" to new heights of compact form-factor. Chambered in .300 Blk the new CZ 600 Trail ought to perform just fine out to 300m.

Will this also shoot 5.56? or strictly 223?

i would assume 556 also, the micro mauser rifles cz puts out seem geared to shooting cheap military ammo.

It will handle both cartridges with equal ease according to the intro videos that I have viewed.

They just label them .223 because of the gun laws in Europe.

do you have any more detail on that? I'm always curious about the silly laws other countries have.

Many countries in Europe have "banned military calibers" in their gun laws.

Any rifle labelled 5.56-Nato or 7.62-Nato goes straight to the banned list.
But the exact same rifle labelled .223-Remington or .308-Winchester is totally fine.

Been watching some of the newer C600 videos, I'm super pumped.
.338 is where the fun starts.
