    Any update yet??
Bren 2 is delayed for next spring, and I start to worry that the same thing happen to these.

Likely will. 3 of the next purchases I would like to make are CZ's and 2 of which have been duds so far (Bren and CZ600). At least there are plenty of CZ 457's in stock.
.338 is where the fun starts.

Yes it's frustrating, but just be patient. I've never had a CZ "dud", but yes to almost every other make!

Yes, lots of nice CZ 557's in stock at a few retailers.

557s are nice, and we miss them, especially since the 600s are not here yet.

However, it is a good news that we may not need to wait for these to the next spring.

I had my hands on a 308 Lux today at NS booth at Taccom.

Pretty sure I’m going to be getting one.
I’d be willing to buy the demo.....hint hint

The Lux is what I have my eyes on, only wish they were offering it in the safari cartridges. How was the fit and finish? Any concerns with the plastic parts?

The wood was beautiful and the fit (for me) perfect. Finish was perfect.
It's a nice short carbine rifle - very similar to a Remington 660 type bolt gun
The bolt is bent to keep out of the way of the scope
I can cycle the bolt very quickly. Butter smooth.
Every time I pulled it to my shoulder it was "right there"...points well.

Not sure what plastic parts you are referring to?

Bolt is well made, I like the bolt release (can remove bolt with safety on) or you can remove it with safety off.
The sights were very easy to pick up even with my old eyes. Red fibre optic. Similar to the Ranger Rifle
I probably would need a scope but young guys won't.

It's a bit heavy - toting it around all day hunting will start to wear on me, but hey, I can't stand plastic stocks, ever since my Sako M995 broke in half and Sako didn't do squat for me. Ever since it's been hardwood and no issues. This is the only thing I didn't like, a little lighter would be nice, But it is not a deal breaker.

    The safety is silent
The mag lock is nice feature so you don't suddenly find you have lost your one and only magazine....I didn't ask about spares.
The rep was from the Czechoslovakia factory. Very nice man

I think Tesro has them listed around $1175 or so and considering guys are asking $1000 for beat up 30 year old Remington 700's I would say this is a good price

The "Trail" model accepts AR magazines. Its a bolt action meaning that it has no restrictions on magazine capacity. Would one be able to use 20 and 30 round AR magazines with their Trail? Or will CZ release larger capacity magazines specifically for the Trail.
