    -zombies?
Walking undead. Destroy the brain to stop. It is important to have a plan in place for the event of a zombie uprising.

    -bubba?
Somone who takes stock guns usualy millsurps and modifies them with hacksaws and little skill. A gun that this has been done to is has been "bubba'ed".

-pimped? ( have an idea on this one )
A gun with lots of fancy aftermarket stuff on it.

    -tin foil hat?
Used to stop government/alien mind control beams. If someone says someing especialy paranoid they may refer to this.

-safe queen ( think i have an idea )
A gun that does not get shot very often
    (\__/)
    (='.'=)
    (")_(")

I'll try my best here, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:

zombie-imaginery beast that all the tinfoil hatters are preparing for. It's a little game some here play, I think.

bubba-someone who "sporterises original military stocks, esp. full wood lee enfields. A sporterised lee enfield is commonly called "bubba'd".

pimped-I'm guessing they'd mean a decked out firearm like an AR-15 with all the bells and whistles. It may be referred to as a pimped out AR, etc.

tinfoil hat-Refers to people who think the gov't can read their mind through machines or somethin' and a tinfoil hat prevents that. It has come to mean "someone who is paranoid".

safe queen-A gun that sits in the safe and looks pretty, but never gets used.

I hope this helps. If I'm way off base and none of this is true or makes sense...oh well, s**t happens.:D

edit to add: Masterpython, you beat me to the punch, but oh well. :D

Sometimes a picture is easier to understand... WRT "Bubba" or "Bubba'd"

What are some other common ones? As a newbie, here are some abbreviations I've learned from browsing:

    EE - Equipment Exchange
    EMT - email/electronic money transfer
fudd - old guys that use their guns for hunting but don't really have much interest in firearms beyond that
"boating accident" - the fate of many firearms that face potential banning

Here's one that seems to generate some confusion with newbies on the EE

    SPF

It means a deal is in the works
and the item is Sold Pending Funds

If you plan on being a member of this site, the first think you MUST do is meet
    MIKE FROM CANMORE....
