Benelli M4 canadian mag tube Gen 2

Hold on, the OEM stock extension tube made by Benelli is different color then the black m4?? Why would Benelli do that?
Can anyone who have m4 with OEM extension tube confirm this?

The only other finish we will be doing is parkerized as in zinc phosphate.
As out tubes are made from 4140 HTSR steel this normally come in a dark gray.
