    I was expecting to see Ruger's name on the new rifles somewhere, interesting it is not. Also interesting they are maintaining a separate website for Marlin. Really good looking rifle, I like the "New Improvements".

    Lots of space on the side of that receiver for Ruger to write:

    “Read instruction manual before using. Available at Ruger.com/info/help/manuals/1895
    The 10 commandments of gun safety are
    1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
    2. Always control the muzzle of your firearm.
    3. Be sure of your target and beyond.
    4. Never shoot at a flat, hard surface including water.
    5. Never point a firearm at anything you don’t want to shoot.
    6. Never climb, run or jump with a loaded firearm.
    7. Lock up firearms and ammunition separately.
    8. Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions.
    9. Unload firearms when not in use.
    10. Avoid alcohol before and during a hunt.”

    Looks good, I’m waiting for the 336 to come back, hopefully in a 16”. That 1895 is slick looking though.

    What's the availability?

    As per Ruger website;

    "Due to Ruger's anticipation of strong demand and the limited quantity of rifles available, the company is encouraging retailers to contact their distributors for availability. Ruger also strongly advises consumers to not leave deposits with retailers who do not have confirmed shipments"

    We were provided with the same info from Ruger. No delivery date at this time. No sarcasm is intended here - we'll see stock as soon as Ruger builds and ships rifles to Canada.
