Id be more interested in a version that would extend out to the gas block for a more conventional grip on the rifle, sort of like the magpul zhukov handguard, but aluminum and with mlok. But agree with OP it should mount in a fashion that wouldn't require any crazy modifications.

Some VZ58 furniture works. The lower handguard is easy and any polymer one should work with a little bit of shaving/dremel work. I had luck with the fab defense ones. The upper handguard requires significantly more work because the T81 top handguard length is way longer that the VZ58.

I plan on starting pistol grips and butt stocks in the near future. I will also be making handguards with M-Lok/Keymod/Picatinny interfaces and extended handguards.
