It's threads like this one that remind me why I got out of retail sales many years ago. Thanks for the bad memories. I mean, come on...I have an item that I ordered and paid for before Christmas which hasn't even arrived yet; not happy about it, but given the holiday season, Covid and all the other obstacles to fast shipping and service, I think it's a bit too early to start slamming the seller about it.

For the record, I am yet another customer of Prophet River (did you spell that "profit" because you thought you were being subtle and witty, or because you just didn't know any better?) who thinks that they are one of the finest retailers with whom I have ever dealt.
Eat right, don't drink, don't smoke, exercise, get lots of sleep...and die anyway!

If you want to buy it, say "I'll take it".
If you want to make an offer, say "I'll take it for $X".
If you want to practice your negotiating skills by asking if I will accept $X, with no intention of actually buying...say nothing.

"Profit" was a typo, just the way my brain works sometimes.

It was not my intention, nor do I think I slammed Prophet River. I simply stated how my recent experience did not match their description of Weatherby being "Few warranty issues and things get dealt with quickly"

You are entitled to your opinions, but i was expecting better customer service from Weatherby.

Congrats on the recognition well deserved, Weatherby vanguard I own two, nice light and accurate rifles, one of the best in its price range.

Notice a post complaint on Warranty, well Unfortunity firearms warranty is what it is, pretty much zero sence of urgency on warranty and the fact their not on every steet corner like automotive dealers, you might as well package it up and forget about it for a while, 8 to 10 weeks is pretty standard I have found in Canada. It sucks but that's the way it is, he hand full of times I needed warranty, I have had better luck dealing direct with the USA office after giving Canada a try.

Same post on Quality controll, other unfortunity side of mail order, buyer beware, I agree the item should come in new working order, alot can happen between the shipper and customer...alot!... exterior damage can be common but, internal on a firearm raises eyebrows on how well it was function checked at the a factory and then at the shipper! I always ask the shipper to run a mag of dummy rounds and snap caps try the safety and check the screws before they shipping, hopfully that would be common sence? if they do or not I can't say, but fortunately I have not had a function issue on arrival.

GOOD NEWS!!! Your items have been shipped.

Your items were gently taken from our shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your products and polished them to make sure they were in the best possible condition before mailing.

My packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your products into the finest packaging that money can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party is set to march down the street to the post office, where the entire town of Surrey will wave 'Bon Voyage!!' to your package.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping with me on the Internet. I sure did. Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer Of The Year'. I’m exhausted but can't wait for you to come back again.

Public service announcement: All those cheap Canuck tactical stocks and fore ends fit Weatherby shotguns.
Once your ad sells, edit prefix from WTS to Pls Remove and change the title to SOLD by clicking go advanced. I'm tired of clicking on ten ads a day, only to see the word sold where the price was.

    Well Done!

I can confirm this. I bought a container of bullseye powder from him and every grain was polished.
