    Hi KGL -

    Can you change a reticle in a 3-9 Vari-X IIc ?
Yes, an old one but I still like it.
If it can be done what reticle options are available?
    Thanks much,

    KC34

If your scope serial number has a prefix of W-Z or a suffix of A-AI (and on-going) we can install the reticles listed above at a cost of $167.19. If your serial has a prefix A-V, we cannot change the reticle.

Leupold has not yet produced a Hunt Plex reticle for the 1-4, so we cannot install this reticle.

We do, however, offer the following options for your scopes:
    SPR
    Wide Duplex
    Leupold Dot
    German 1
    German 4
    Fine Duplex

The cost to change a reticle in VX-1/VX-2/VX-Freedom is $167.19 plus tax and freight both ways.

Should you have any further questions, please shoot us an email at warranty@korthgroup.com.

Unfortunately not - Redfield and Leupold Rifleman scopes cannot receive a reticle change.

Why such drastic price differences? (Genuine question)

Also, can the parallax be adjusted at the same time? How much for that?

Pricing variance is based on two factors: complexity of the installation process and the reticle cost. The more feature rich/complex the optic, the more complicated the reticle installation is.

We can adjust parallax on all but the VX-3L scopes; at a cost of $75.
